Meet Jes Holst
Jes Holst is a Pierce County family law and estate planning attorney serving Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, University Place, and surrounding communities.
Her work focuses on high-conflict divorce, parenting disputes, domestic violence matters, and complex financial issues, alongside estate planning for families seeking long-term protection and stability.
Before law, Jes served in the United States Air Force and worked as a registered nurse — experiences that shaped a calm, disciplined approach to high-stakes situations where clarity and steadiness matter most. Her perspective is further informed by her own experience navigating high-conflict circumstances, giving her a practical understanding of what clients are facing that goes beyond the legal.
As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, trained mediator, and collaborative law professional, Jes brings financial strategy and structured decision-making into every matter she handles. She also serves as a high-conflict coach and regularly speaks and teaches on complex family law matters — work that continues to shape how she approaches each case.

Beyond the Practice
In Jes’s own words -
Outside of my work, I value the same things I prioritize for my clients - balance, connection, and appreciating the beauty in everyday life.
I share my home with three dogs — which, depending on the day, is about three too many. When I am not working, I try to get out and experience the energy of a summer concert, art fair, or local parade. In the winter, I am a sucker for local theater and holiday craft fairs.
I try never to go a week without a laugh, a walk, good coffee, homemade lasagna, and at least one really spectacular sweet treat.
At the end of the day, I believe, as John Mayer told us, “the heart of life is good” — and even in complex seasons, there should still be room for joy, connection, and a sense of grounding.
